Composition :
Each ml contains: Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose IP 0.5% w/v + Sodium Perborate BP 0.005% w/v(As Preservative), Sterile Aqueous baseq.s.

Dosage Form :
Eye Drops

Indications :
For the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to the dryness of the eye, or due to exposure to wind, sun, etc. Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium Lubricant Eye Drops 0.5% w/v may be used as a protectant against further irritation.

Dosage and Method of Administration :
Instil 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

Lactating women
Safe use during lactation has not been established

Contraindications :
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the formulation.

Warnings and Precautions :
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
NOT FOR INJECTION
If one experiences eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, administration of Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium Lubricant Eye Drops 0.5% w/v should be discontinued and a physician should be consulted. If solution changes its colour or becomes cloudy, do not use. Keep out of reach of children.

Drug Interactions :
None known.

Undesirable Effects :
Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium Lubricant Eye Drops 0.5% w/v is well tolerated but occasionally stinging, burning, red eyes, or allergic reactions can occur after instillation.
In children when the semi-steadfast or steadfast spasm of accommodation is present, it is better to use atropine sulfate for cycloplegia.

Over dosage :
Acute overdosage with Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium Lubricant Eye Drops0.5% w/v eye drops has not been reported
